Positive Birthing and Beyond CIO is a charity that aims to promote and protect the good health and well-being of childbearing women and their families by offering support, info and guidance.
We have a board of trustees who volunteer their time to set this up and are responsible for the running of the charity. We aim to recruit more volunteers as the organisation grows, if you think you would like to be involved either as a trustee or you have another skill that you would like to share please do email us.
From April 2022, we received funding from The National Lottery community funds to run some new projects across Birmingham and Solihull – We were awarded £9600 to deliver services to families. Please see our projects for more information.
What does Positive Birthing and Beyond do?
We provide, free of charge, a wide range of individual and group support to help you understand your choices for birth and prepare for the arrival of your baby. The birthing experience that women have is important to us as we believe all women should have positive experiences. When we talk about positive experiences it isn’t about the way you give birth that matters to us, what shapes a positive birth is

Our services are delivered across Birmingham and Solihull. If you are unsure about the support we can offer please do get in touch to discuss your circumstances. We work closely with other services so if we cant support you, then we will support you to find an organisation that can help
We will work closely with all family members if required.
Our one to one support is delivered by a team of trained practitioners.
